Kaplan Home & Hearth sells and installs wood, gas & pellet
stoves and inserts. We have hired Gary Gilley, an expert in
the stove industry. Kaplan has a retail showroom, selling
stoves, hearth materials and also lighting.
With 25 plus years experience, 25 plus employees ready to
serve, we hope Kaplan Electric and Kaplan Home & Hearth are
the companies you will look to for all of your needs,
commercial, residential, small or large. We are a company
that knows that dependability is still existent and is
innate to us.

WOOD BURNING STOVES

a renewable source of energy. Wood burning stoves put
out an efficient, comforting dry heat. Wood burning
stoves look great in old homes as well as modern homes
and are a great alternative to a standard fireplace.

WOOD PELLET STOVES offer an alternative solution
that greatly reduces the amount of time you need to
devote to maintaining your stove. Wood pellet stoves
provide the warmth and atmosphere of a traditional wood
burning stove, with out the mess and work. Wood pellets
are compressed sawdust and when burned, are efficient
enough to provide plenty of heat to warm your entire
home. Wood pellet stoves are specifically designed to
burn these pellets. Additionally, wood pellet stoves can
be integrated into an existing homes’ venting system to

enjoy the atmosphere of having a fireplace serving as
the centerpiece of any living room. However, many of the
average fireplaces have low heating efficiency ratings
of less than ten percent because of the open design.
Fireplaces draw in too much air and burn too quickly
wasting energy. Fireplace inserts have closed
insulated doors which slow the fire down and increase
the temperature of the fire resulting in more energy
efficiency. Fireplace inserts also have added features
like blowers, fans and thermostats. Together, they
provide a good way to help lower utility bills as well

natural gas, wood, propane, pellet, and coal as their
